Due to COVID and heavy restrictions placed on indoor and outdoor events, April was a VERY slow month for Vegas Nights. We felt this was not the time to be lazy and just sit back and wait, our yearly maintenance came early instead!
We normally touch up all our equipment September/October in time for our busy Christmas season but this yearly we took our time and went over EVERYTHING we owned to make sure it was in tip top condition for clients when events start to get back on track.
One thing we see from our competitors year after year is that their equipment seems to get more and more battered. This is such a shame to see as it can put a bad name on our industry. Other companies look like they have NEVER maintained their equipment, they keep their prices low which is fair enough but then customers can't understand why they are cheaper than us, I tell them their equipment is of very low standard in the nicest possible way! But once a customer has had a bad experience with another company because they were shocked at what they got, they won't have another casino party again, which is a shame because they didn't get to experience what they should have!
Apart from maintenance, we also tried to push our DIY sales, if we couldn't go to our clients, then our clients can come to us! Poker Tables are extremely popular so I dropped the price massively and offered a full weekend of hire! Hire of Poker Tables were on the rise and were providing some relief to what has otherwise been, a terrible month for events....
